Terms & Conditions

Booking and rental information for Charge&Go in Pokhara, including confirmation, documents, pricing, deposits, pickup, vehicle use and returns.

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions explain website enquiries and vehicle rentals with Charge&Go Mobility Pvt. Ltd. ("Charge&Go", "we", "us"), based in Nayabazar, Pokhara, Gandaki, Nepal. Please read them before confirming a booking and ask the rental desk about anything that is unclear.

We complete a rental agreement on paper in Nepali, which the customer signs. Read it and ask the desk to explain any clause before signing. Your confirmed quote and signed rental agreement set out the arrangements for your particular booking. Any specific terms must be disclosed and agreed before you commit. Nothing on this page removes rights or remedies available under applicable law.

1. Enquiries and booking confirmation

You can browse our vehicle listings and send your preferred vehicle, full rental dates, pickup and return points, route and contact details. Submitting a booking request is free: it does not charge you, reserve a vehicle or confirm a rental.

The rental desk checks availability and contacts you to confirm the vehicle, price, documents and other arrangements. A booking is confirmed only when those details have been agreed and the desk has confirmed the reservation. Online availability can change, so please wait for confirmation before relying on a particular car.

2. Prices, inclusions and payment

Prices displayed on the website are starting daily rates. The final quote depends on the vehicle, rental period, availability and any agreed services or add-ons. Ask for a quote for your full dates, including weekly or monthly rentals.

Before confirming, agree the total price, taxes if applicable, payment method and timing, mileage allowance, driver arrangements, charging or fuel costs, pickup and return arrangements, and any additional charges. A listed daily rate does not by itself promise that each of these items is included. We do not take payment merely because you send a request.

3. Identification and self-drive eligibility

We keep a copy of your passport or citizenship certificate as part of the rental record. Identification documents are required for rentals. Anyone driving a self-drive vehicle must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for that vehicle and meet applicable driving requirements. Tell the desk who will drive and confirm the exact documents and eligibility requirements before pickup, including any requirements relevant to a foreign licence.

Provide accurate contact, booking and document information. Only drivers accepted under the rental agreement may drive the vehicle. Do not give a vehicle to another person or sub-rent it without prior agreement.

4. Security deposits

A security deposit is not required for every booking. The rental desk will confirm whether one applies to your rental. If it does, agree the amount, payment method, return arrangements and any permitted deductions before confirming.

Deposit amounts, permitted deductions and return timing are confirmed for your booking. Any deposit settlement must follow the agreed rental terms and applicable law. Ask for an explanation of any proposed deduction.

5. Pickup, inspection and return

Our desk is in Nayabazar, Pokhara. Hotel, airport or a different pickup or return point may be arranged in advance, subject to confirmation and any agreed charge.

At handover, check the vehicle with the team and record existing damage, vehicle condition, accessories, charge or fuel level, and the agreed return time and place. Raise any concern before departure. Return the vehicle and supplied items as agreed, and complete a return inspection with the team where possible.

If you expect to be late or want an extension or a different return point, contact the desk before the agreed return time. An extension depends on availability and confirmation; additional days or services must be agreed.

6. Safe and permitted vehicle use

Use the vehicle lawfully, carefully and within the route and use agreed for your booking. Follow traffic laws, seat and load limits, manufacturer guidance and handover instructions. Do not drive under the influence, race, use the vehicle for unlawful activity, or continue driving when a warning or defect makes it unsafe.

Discuss rough roads, remote routes, cross-border travel, commercial use or any unusual trip requirements with the desk before confirming. Do not assume that every vehicle is suitable or permitted for every route. Any restrictions, mileage limits and responsibilities for fines or other charges should be recorded in your rental agreement.

7. Electric vehicles and charging

For an electric vehicle, plan the route, expected range, charging stops and return charge level with the rental desk before departure. Actual range depends on the vehicle, road and weather conditions, passenger load and driving style. A range figure is an estimate, not a guarantee for your trip.

Confirm compatible chargers, the charging equipment supplied, who pays charging costs and what to do if a charger is unavailable. Follow the vehicle's charging instructions, protect the supplied cables and accessories, and contact the desk if a charging or range problem affects safe travel.

8. Damage, incidents, breakdowns and insurance

Check the insurance cover, exclusions, any excess and your responsibilities in the rental agreement before confirming. A vehicle listing or daily rate does not establish a particular level of insurance or a zero-liability promise.

If there is an accident, breakdown, theft or damage, first take reasonable steps to protect people and contact local emergency services when needed. Notify Charge&Go as soon as it is safe and follow lawful reporting and insurer requirements. Contact the desk before arranging repairs, towing or other work, except where immediate action is needed for safety or required by law.

Any responsibility for damage, loss, fines or other costs must be assessed under the agreed rental terms and applicable law. Ask for the basis and supporting details of any charge.

9. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Contact the rental desk promptly if you need to change or cancel a booking. Availability and pricing may change if your dates, vehicle, route or handover arrangements change.

Before the rental starts: You can cancel without a cancellation charge.

After the rental starts: If you cancel or return the vehicle early, you are charged for the days you actually rented the vehicle, calculated at the applicable daily rental rate. Unused booked days are not charged as rental days.

For example, if you book five days but return the vehicle after two rental days, the rental charge is for two days at the applicable daily rate. If you paid in advance, contact the desk to reconcile the amount paid against the days used and arrange any refund due. Any separate responsibility for damage, fines or other agreed charges is handled under your signed rental agreement and applicable law.

If we cannot provide a confirmed vehicle, we will discuss the available alternatives and the handling of any payment with you. A replacement vehicle or revised arrangement requires your agreement; your legal rights remain unaffected.

10. Website information and personal data

Vehicle descriptions, images, rates and availability help you compare options, but confirm the exact vehicle and important trip requirements with the desk. If a material listing error is identified, it should be clarified before you agree to a booking or a change.

Use the website honestly and do not submit fraudulent requests, misuse another person's details or interfere with the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiry, booking and rental information is handled.

11. Questions, complaints and applicable law

Contact us with your booking reference, the relevant dates and a clear description of the issue so the desk can review it. Do not send unnecessary identity or payment details in a complaint. These terms are subject to applicable Nepalese law and do not exclude mandatory consumer protections or prevent you from using an available lawful complaint or dispute process.

We may update this page for future enquiries and bookings. An update does not by itself change the terms already agreed for a confirmed rental.
